Is there more to the story concerning the economy; the U.S. economy, and the world’s economy? With bank failures, foreclosures, and corporate bailouts to name a few with more to come, much more. Some of us know that there is definitely more to the story and that this situation just didn’t happen, unassisted. We most likely can’t give you a detailed answer as to how this came about but our gut tells us that something is amiss. Those who do know would have us believe that this is all the result of the housing market and sub prime lending. Please take the time to read the perspective of someone who has more than just a “gut feeling”:

As you can see this is my first posting since the elections. I needed a little time to just sit back and well, observe and reflect (actually I had other projects to tend to as well). Closing in on Election Day here in the United States means, exposure to an intensifying and constant barrage of campaign rhetoric from the local to national level. It has never ceased to amaze me as to the amount of money spent in this endeavor. What is even more amazing is how people seem to eat it up! Does it ever dawn on most people that the vast majority of this incredibly expensive broadcast time is dedicated to the smearing of the opposition and very little if any on pertinent issues?
